The Personal Finance Officer collaborates within the Growth and Marketing department in establishing the successful launch of new products and services as developed under the Executive Advance portfolio to meet the needs of existing and new Quickstop customers. The PFO additionally is responsible for managing the sales of all Executive Advance products and services to ensure consistent profitable growth in sales/loans revenues through effective and efficient planning and customer satisfaction based on quality of service delivered. The position requires travel within Barbados to meet with prospective and existing clients on a regular basis. This is a full-time position with remuneration based on a minimum salary plus commission earned.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop leads for the Executive Advance and eventually Business Advance products.
- Effectively and efficiently plan the sales visits with potential business leads and individual prospective customers in your target market areas.
- Market Executive Advance products and services via social media and face to face interaction
- Launch and sell new products & services that have been designed, vetted and approved by management.
- Meet and exceed established sales targets.
- Where applicable, meet with potential ‘Secure Installment’ loan employers and set up Salary Deduction Agreements.
- Make on site visits to potential clients and process/issue loans in adherence with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare Sales Report ensuring it is accurate and delivered on a timely basis.
- Respond to inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
- Generate, contact, and track progress of potential individual customer and business leads
- Perform outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers.
- Ensure accurate customer records are kept and filed according to standard operating procedures.
- Assist Credit, Marketing and Leadership team in monitoring competitors, market conditions and product development.
- Assist Credit, Marketing and Leadership team in conducting market survey and research that may be necessary for feasibility study of a new product.
- Meet and exceed established sales and conversion targets.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time

Education
A minimum of Associate’s Degree in Business (Honour Roll) from a recognized institution.
Work Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in sales in Financial Services industry.
(Equivalent combination of education with work experience will be considered.)

Working Environment:
The Personal Finance Officer will be equipped with standard office equipment (e.g. desk, computer, printer, calculator, etc.). The office area will be at an average temperature and will have a low to moderate noise level. This position would be stationed indoors for approximately 30% of the time and outdoors for approximately 70% of time for business or travel purposes.
