The Credit Operations Specialist will report to the Sr. Director Credit & Collections and work alongside managers within the other Departments to support the strategic growth and development of the department. The person in this role will continually drive efficiencies and operational improvements through the credit and underwriting process in addition to being responsible for creating and deploying a development program for all the teams within the Credit department.
Primary duties and responsibilities:

1.    Systematically and consistently review credit controls, policy & procedures with a view to optimizing to meet company targets.
2.    Developing and execute credit strategies by configuring internal Decision Engines
3.    Ensure configuration of products and transactions in the Loans Management System are in line with company policies and industry regulations. 
4.    Identify and execute process, system, and resource optimizations to drive incremental improvement to conversion metrics across all stages of the underwriting lifecycle.
5.    Work with Credit and Sales department leadership to create, deploy, and oversee the ongoing training and development programs for all teams within the department.
6.    Create, manage, and maintain a database for all Credit-related policies, procedures, and process documents and training materials.
7.    Work with the Technology and Analytics teams to ensure that systems, technology platforms and processes, data management and analysis are all optimally structured to make for efficient operations and service delivery. 
8.    Create dashboards and reports to assist in measuring and tracking team production and KPIs.
9.    Produce Monthly and Quarterly Credit and Risk Related Report with recommendations and analysis.

Education 
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering (Preferably Honor Roll)

Work Experience
Minimum of 3 to 5 years strong quantitative work experience (Equivalent combination of education with work experience will be considered.)

Skills
•    Advance Level Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
•    Intermediate level coding in Python, SQL or R languages
•    Basic level data visualization in PowerBi
•    Working knowledge of Credit Administration
